Ötztaler Radmarathon

Ötztaler Radmarathon is Austria’s benchmark alpine gran fondo from Sölden through the Kühtai, Brenner, Jaufenpass and Timmelsjoch. About 4,000 riders start each year, entry is allocated by lottery, and the route’s 227 kilometres with roughly 5,500 metres of climbing make it one of the hardest mass-participation road events in Europe. It is aimed at very well-prepared amateurs and experienced mountain marathon riders.
