Steinitzsteg 1200 Wien Österreich

Tietoa tapahtumasta

Join us for our weekly evening Ride and join us for a little post-ride get-together at the Wiener Würstelstand in Spittelau for a chilled drink and some good chats ☀️ Our rides are a great way to challenge yourself, ride longer routes and enjoy the surroundings of Vienna 🌳 Remember to equip yourself with spare tubes, lights, hydration and nutrition for the ride. A helmet and a roadbike is mandatory to participate. NO TRI-BARS(Aufleger) ALLOWED Practical information: •Departure Time: 17:30 •Meeting Point: Steinitzsteg, Yellow Bridge •Distance: depending on the route (50-70km) and always some elevation •Group Strava : https://strava.app.link/gyWAgnAmA3b Please download the route to your head unit before the ride. For everyone's safety, follow the ride leader's instructions and adhere to traffic laws. The number of groups offered depends on the number of coaches available. If there are to less coaches - also self organised groups are possible ! -> All groups are riding the same route, so you can wait for the next group behind you if the ride is too fast! 🚀 ❕Groups : - The 3rd group is based on a relaxed pace of about 25-27 km/h average, depending on the individual riders and the track profile. We also stay together here and wait for everyone. - The 2nd group will be at 29-31 km/h - here in the future one of our coaches will ride with 200-250w (in the flat) in the front and should NOT to be overtaken. At the end of climbs, we also will wait together if someone need a bit more time there. - In the 1st group we ride faster than 30 km/h on average, here we aim from 250w in the first row, depending on the dynamics and traffic situation in the group then also more at times. Here too, NO overtake or drive away, the pace can be increased together - communicated alternating in the front row is of course welcome here. ____________________________ Important Guidelines: ✅Group Experience: Ensure you have experience riding in groups and are familiar with all hand signals. This is not a beginners' ride! ✅ Please don’t overtake the group leader. We’re riding at the front to maintain a steady, consistent pace for the whole group. ✅ On the Danube Island and along the Danube, we intentionally keep the pace a bit lower due to the increased risk of accidents. ✅Self-Assessment: Before joining the Early Birds, complete a self-assessment on the Dopplerhütte segment (Strava). This helps determine the most suitable pace group for you (Group 1: 6:30-8:45; G2: 8:00-9:45; G3: 9:15-14:30). More info: https://strava.app.link/tn5GVEBd2Lb ✅Registration Required: Register for rides via the Heylo events and include your Dopplerhütte segment time during registration. It's free and helps us manage group sizes effectively. ✅Group Sizes: Groups are capped at 14 riders to maintain safety and quality. If a group exceeds this number, it will be split accordingly. ✅Follow Instructions: Our volunteer coaches dedicate their time to organizing these rides. Please respect and follow their instructions. If you cannot do so, we kindly ask you to find another group. ❌Know Your Abilities: Riders have occasionally overestimated their abilities, posing safety risks. Prioritize group safety and control your pace, especially if you feel the need to impress. If you can't ride safely within our guidelines, we suggest finding a group that better suits your style. Leadership: If no one from the EB-crew shows up, please organize yourselves, we will try to keep you informed. All updates can be found at our Strava profile ________________ ❗️Disclaimer – Early Birds Cycling Club By joining a ride organized by Early Birds Cycling Club, I acknowledge the following disclaimer: 1.
